Both doctors are Board Certified in Audiology and licensed by the State of Ohio, and are fellows of the American Academy of Audiology. They are also certified by both Mercer Health as Medical Staff and Joint Township Hospital as Allied Health Staff. The doctors were born and raised in St. Marys, Ohio.

	Peg Meiring, Au.D., FAAA Prior to establishing Family Audiology Associates, Inc. with Dr. Hunter, Dr. Meiring has been serving the community for the past 14 years as a clinical Audiologist in St. Marys. Prior to that, she was an audiologist at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima from 1988 to 1990. She was also Coordinator of Audiology at Dayton ENT Surgeons. Dr. Meiring earned her Doctorate degree from the University of Florida, her Masters Degree from the Ohio State University and her Bachelor's Degree from Wright State University.
	Ellen Hunter, Au.D., FAAA Prior to establishing Family Audiology Associates, Inc. with Dr. Meiring, Dr. Hunter worked as a clinical Audiologist in Urbana and Springfield, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Louisville’s School of Medicine in 2003, having had intership positions at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital and Kosair Children's Hospital.
